Testimonials
Our second stay at RoFawr – and the
weather was marvellous, blue skies and hot sun. It is so good to see
so many animals and birds of the country side: deer, herons, buzzards,
red kites. The red kite feeding station at Llanddeusant was breathtaking
– 50 or 60 of these birds all together (2.30pm for 3.00pm every
day). Our thanks to John and Ann once again for a lovely welcome and
for letting us share their home and cottages. We hope to return again
soon

I came here for a relaxing week end with my partner, Poli, and we had
a lovely time: Aberglasney Gardens, National Botanical Gardens, Castell
Carreg Cennen and a country park. We walked along the river, swam and
then, in the evening, relaxed in this lovely accommodation! Perfect
– and we’ll be back.

Thank you for letting us share your own little piece of heaven on earth
for this week. It has been the best start to the New Year we could have
wished for, roaring log fires to accompany good friends, good food,
good wine and good fun. Thank you for letting us interrupt your civilized
evening to see in 2005 with John and his bag pipes.(one of the party!)
We have loved staying in the old cowshed with its lovely beams and
welsh slate floor – it reminded Lola of the cottages we read about
in her fairy tales. The wonderful views, the mountains, the valleys,
the river, the geese and swans have made this a magical stay and guarantee
a return some day.
The swimming pool was fantastic and helped us to wear the kids out
and provided hours of fun.
But most of all thank you for your warm hospitality and friendship.
